Garments must be returned in the same condition they were received, allowing for reasonable wear associated with normal use.
If a garment is returned with damage, including but not limited to stains, tears, rips, burn marks, missing embellishments, excessive dirt, or discolouration, the renter will be responsible for any associated cleaning, repair, restoration, or replacement costs.
If damage results in the garment being unavailable for future bookings, the renter may also be liable for any loss of rental income and associated costs incurred by The Dress Hire Society.
The Dress Hire Society reserves the right to determine whether a garment is repairable. If a garment is lost, stolen, not returned, or deemed irreparably damaged, the renter will be responsible for paying up to the full RRP of the garment or a replacement fee determined by The Dress Hire Society.
The full RRP of each garment can be found within the product description.
Replacement fee payments must be made within 30 days of notification. We are happy to discuss payment arrangements where required.
Under no circumstances does payment of a replacement fee entitle the renter to keep the garment. Ownership of all garments remains with The Dress Hire Society at all times.
